Website Proposal

Sky Tray Online Store

A standalone online store on its own domain to sell the Sky Tray, built so you can run the whole thing from your phone once it is live.

1

The short version

You sell a great product. This gets it online cleanly: a rope access tech can order one in under a minute, and you fulfil every order from your phone without touching any tech.

This is a build-and-hand-over project with a clear finish line. I design it, build it, set up the store, hand you the keys, and the project is done. You own and run it from there. Below is exactly what you get, what it costs, where the line sits, and what I need from you to start.

2

What I'm building

Platform: Shopify, the platform built specifically for selling physical products. Once the store is live, you manage every order from the Shopify app on your phone: you get a notification on each sale, see the payment land, and print the postage label in a couple of taps. No technical know-how needed on your side, which is exactly what you asked for.

Page 1

Landing page

The Sky Tray story. Why it beats the old paint bucket, the ergonomic curved-edge design, who it is for (rope access, painting, window cleaning), and a clear Buy button.

Page 2

Product & checkout

Product photos, price, add to cart, and a secure checkout. The page a buyer lands on to order.

Plus the essentials that come as standard: shopping cart, secure checkout, automatic order-confirmation emails, and the basic policy pages (shipping, returns, privacy) you need to take payments. I also write the words on both pages for you, so the page actually sells. You just approve them.

3

What's included, and what's not

To keep this clean and fixed-price, here is exactly where the line sits. The build is everything needed to launch and take orders. Marketing the store and running it day to day are yours.

In the build
  • Full Shopify store: two pages plus the standard essentials
  • Sales copy for both pages, written by me, approved by you
  • Polished product images, created with AI from the basic photos you send
  • Card and bank-transfer payments configured
  • Shipping and tax setup
  • Domain connected, store tested end to end
  • One round of revisions before launch
  • Handover walkthrough, plus 14 days of bug fixes after launch
Not included (your side)
  • ×Running ads or managing marketing campaigns
  • ×Ad and conversion tracking (optional add-on below)
  • ×SEO and getting found on Google (optional add-on below)
  • ×Ongoing management, maintenance or product updates
  • ×Packing and posting orders (fulfilment)
4

Payments

  • Card payments Visa and Mastercard, through Shopify's built-in processing. The money lands in your bank account automatically.
  • Bank transfer (EFT) Shopify can also offer bank transfer as a checkout option. The customer is shown your bank details, and the order is held until the payment reaches your account.
A note on BPay: BPay needs a separate setup through your bank and is not built into Shopify. Card and bank transfer cover the vast majority of online orders, so I would suggest starting there. We can talk through whether BPay is worth adding on our call.
5

Your investment

Project total $3,600AUD
To begin
$1,800 (50%)
On launch
$1,800 (50%)

This covers: design, build, full store setup, payment configuration, the sales copy, testing, one round of revisions, a handover walkthrough, and 14 days of bug fixes after launch.

Optional add-on · conversion tracking

Only worth it if you plan to advertise the store. I install GA4, the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking during the build, so your ads have proper data from day one and you never need to bring me back to add it later. +$850, one-off. Skip it entirely if you are not running ads.

Optional add-on · SEO pages

The store sells the Sky Tray to people who already know about it. SEO pages help people find it on Google in the first place. I research the search terms your buyers actually type, then build pages around them so the product gets discovered over time, not only through your own promotion. Priced to scope once we know the terms and page count. From $1,500.

Ongoing platform costs (in your name)

Two small running costs sit with you directly, set up under your own account so you keep full control: the Shopify subscription (approximately $42 to $56 per month) and your domain name (approximately $20 to $40 per year). There is no monthly fee to me.
6

Timeline

I can likely start within the next four to seven days, and I'm aiming to have the store built and launched by 19 June. I'll be away from around that date, so if anything is still outstanding my team will finish it off and get you live without delay. Either way, you are live well ahead of your August order window.

Step 01

Quick call

20 minutes to confirm price, postage, your plans for advertising, and the product details. You send your logo and a few basic photos.

Step 02

Build

I build the store, write the copy, set up payments and shipping, and connect your domain.

Step 03

Review & launch

You review it, we do one round of tweaks, then I hand it over with a walkthrough.

7

What I need from you to start

  • Your logo files and the Sky Tray branding
  • Some photos of the bucket Even basic phone snaps are fine. I turn them into clean, professional product images using AI, so you do not need a photographer.
  • A 20-minute call this week To confirm price per unit, any variations, postage (weight and box size, Australia-only or worldwide), whether you plan to advertise the store, and whether Rope Ready is registered for GST.
  • The domain name you would like I can register it for you if you have not already.

You do not need to write anything. I draft all the copy from your product details, and you approve it.

8

The handoff

The store is built to be yours and run by you. Once it is live I cover any launch bugs (checkout, payments, anything not displaying right) for 14 days, then it is fully handed over and the project is complete.

After that, I do not manage, maintain or run the store, and there is no monthly fee. It is yours to own: you take the orders, pack and post the buckets, and update products whenever you like. If you ever want paid help down the track you know where I am, but nothing is locked in.
